Community of Faith Bible Church donated Bibles this year to the Christian Released Time Program. Each child in the program was able to receive a bible this year. Here are a few that received their Bibles in class.

I've been working alongside my sister; Sis. Pam Thomas in the children's ministry for about 13 years. I started out by coming to class to watch my great niece who was just 2 years old while my sister taught her class. Over time I started helping out with different tasks such as escorting, preparing snacks, and whatever I could do to help out. I've been a child of God since I was a little girl and have remained at the same church for over 60 years. I'm currently serving the Lord on the Mothers Board at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California. I thank God for allowing me to be a part of the children's Spiritual growth.
I've been working with children for over 15 years and it had Blessed me tremendously in my walk with the Lord. Planting the seed of Gods love in the heart of others gives me such an awesome feeling. I pray that I've touched many of the children I've been blessed to teach throughout my years. It has also strengthen the bond with my older sister Mary who works diligently along side of me. I thank God for seeing something in me that I didn't see myself.

I started with Christian Released Time Education in the beginning of 2012 . I came in as an Escort. Escorts walk the children from the schools to the churches; then back to the schools when the lessons are finish. Proverbs 22:6 say; train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Because of God's Mercy and Grace He has Blessed me to be able to have a part in this Training. That is; walking them to God's house of prayer to be taught God's Word.
